Casey Jones lived in Jackson, Tennessee..
90 miles east of Memphis.
The actual frame house he was
living in at the time of his death,
as well as artifacts related to his
life and tragic, heroic end,
have been preserved at
The Casey Jones Museum
The museum includes Casey's
house, a steam engine similar
to Casey's #638, a scale model
of the siding at Vaughn and a
video presentation about
Casey and his life.
At the gift shop you'll find assorted railroad memorabilia.
If you ask, they'll happily direct you to the local cemetary
in Jackson where Casey made his last stop.
